The Season is finally here and we are so excited to be sharing it with Lilliana this year. Michael and I are having fun coming up with our own family traditions that we would like to start with Lilliana. Thanks to Grammie for the Christmas pancake cut outs, that will def be 1 of our traditions.The house is decorated and we hosted our first Christmas Gathering at our home with new neighbors and new mommy and daddy friends we have meet since moving to Elmhurst. We had so much fun being chefs together and entertaining like that. Thanks to all that made that night so special.
Lilliana just went to the doctors 2 weeks ago and weighed 16lbs 3oz and she was 26 inches long. She is getting more blonde hair and most thankful of all, her first toothy came in on Thanksgiving and last Friday her second bottom tooth starting to poke through!!! It is the cutest thing we have ever seen. She is crawling forward now and is trying very hard to pull herself up like her cousin Gavin. She thinks he is the coolest and tries to copy everything he does. They love to pull each others hair and give each other kisses too:) We call her our little explorer and road runner:) She crawls so fast and has perfect form. We had our first big snow last week and Lilliana was at Papa and Grammi's so Grammi let Lilliana have an early Christmas gift, her sled, and she just loved it. She was very curious of the snow and had to touch it first before she felt comfortable with it.
We had such a wonderful week in Virginia with our family! Michael and Lilliana ran their first 5K race called The Drumstick Dash for Hunger. I ran with them and was rooting my amazing husband on the whole way. I was so proud of him and Lilliana too(she had the easy job). Uncle Patrick cooked Lilliana her first Thanksgiving :) and Aunt Jackie made the best cookies ever that Mommy couldn't stop eating. I would love to share pictures of our amazing trip, but we left our camera on our cozy United Flight:) By the grace of God we are hopeful it will show up and we will have our fun pictures of Lilliana's first plane trip. Thanks to Michael's phone, GradBob, Gigi and Aunt Kristin we have some pictures to share. Also, thanks to my hubby who surprised me with a new camera and flip camera last week (he hid it in the frigerator and asked me to go grab us a glass of wine:)) Sneaky guy.
On Saturday we went to Easton's 3rd birthday party. What a great party it was, a fire truck party. Lilliana liked watching all the kids in the jumpy and kept wanting us to bounce her up and down. Lilliana especially loves going to Aunt Sarah's were all the cool toys are, no plastic bowls and wooden spoons:) She just laughs, smiles and talks with Gavin as they play together. It is so fun to see them interacting with each other. a
We are looking forward to Christmas but will miss the family that can not be able to celebrate with us. We will be thinking of you and will have lots of pictures after the New Year! Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!
