Happy 2nd Birthday Lilliana and Happy 31st Birthday to Mommy! What a wonderful year it has been and looking forward to the years ahead:)

We have enjoyed a week and weekend of visiting with family and friends before Lilliana's birthday party. We took GrandBob to Lilliana's favorite place, Cosley Zoo. Lilliana enjoyed showing GrandBob Jupiter and Pro her horsey friends. Lilliana also took her family to see the Easter Bunny and on a train ride. They got to meet her dearest friends and neighbors. Lilliana enjoyed helping Pape and GrandBob put together her new swingset and loved playing in her jumpy and with her trains with GrandBob, Grammie and Nana. Thanks to everyone who celebrated our birthday's with us. Nothing is better than sharing these special moments with family and close friends.

Lilliana loved singing for everyone and acting silly with Mommy and Daddy. She just loves being with family! She would wake up every morning yelling from the top of the stairs "GRANDBOB!" "NANA!" She couldn't wait to get up and get downstairs by them all. She has been asking about them all day today, we can't wait to see them all again when the baby arrives.

Lilliana had a very special 2nd birthday party with her family and little friends by her side. Lilliana also had a special surprise, ponies~! Horses are Lilliana's very favorite. She likes riding them, touching them, talking about them and reading about them in books. It is often that while eating breakfast and we are talking about our day, will Lilliana say "Go Cosley Zoo, I go see Jupiter and Pro." These are the 2 horses at the zoo. It rained and even snowed during the hour the horses where there, but that didn't stop Lilliana she was out there the whole time. Lilliana and her friends also enjoyed bubbles, a birthday hunt and thanks to Aunt Sarah and Uncle Shawn, train rides. It was a beautiful day!
Lilliana really enjoyed her cakes they were very special and lots of love was put into them by Mommy, Daddy, Grammie and Nana. Mommy's first try making them wasn't so splendid, but after Daddy showed Mommy how to decorate a cake like his Mommy showed him, Mommy felt like a pro:) We had fun working together to make your cake and look forward to making your cakes in years to come.
Lilliana had all her favorite themes or things at her birthday. She had a Minnie Mouse table, Mickey Mouse table, Farm animal table, Sesame Street table and lots of balloons of things she likes. We also set up a table so the babies could enjoy some of Lilliana's favorite food...and the adults too. Lilliana picks were avacados, olives, fish crackers, raisens, marshmellows, pistachios, hummus and pretzels and finally cheese sticks.

Lilliana had a great time digging into the cake and ice cream however she wanted to. Lilliana sang Happy Birthday to herself and everyone thought it was pretty cute that she was so into her birthday. We are happy that she feels the specialness of birthdays and will always remember that everyones birthday is a day to celebrate.

Daddy and Lilliana had a special surprise birthday party for Mommy with balloons and cupcakes...and trick candles:) It was a very special low key birthday just like Mommy likes with her 2 favorite people by her side.

We love you Lilliana! You have blessed us with 2 very beautiful and entertaining years. We thank God for you everyday...sometimes 2-3 times a day says Daddy. xoxoxoxo Mommy, Daddy, Aspen and baby in Mommy belly(like you call the baby)
