"Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace." ~ Kent Nerburn

Moved, Moving and Kam's turning 1!

What a great HOT summer it has been in Chicago for us.  We sold our house in June and moved to a rental in Hinsdale, IL, where we have been enjoying our great yard and little family friendly downtown.  Lots of playing and exploring.  Our family will be creating a new path and journey that has taken us to Scottsdale, AZ in September.  All of you know that from the moment Michael and I met we have been searching for that WARM/HOT place year round to call home. Where we can spend most months outside enjoying nature with each other. Leaving family in Chicago who we also call our best friends will be the hardest part to this new journey.  We know lots of trips home for visits and Michaels work will make the move alot easier.  We are blessed to have an amazing group of friends in AZ that we call family too, we will be there to take us under their wings and support us during this transition.
Can you believe it, Kam is a month away from being 1!  Time def flies the second time around.  Kam is doing great.  He weighs 18lbs now and has 6 teeth.  He loves to smile, laugh and give hugs.  He is very ticklish and likes to bite....hmmmm not sure about that interest.  Kam enjoys talking and babbling to anyone.  His smile will light up a room and is not afraid of anyone.  He will smile and wave at all the people in the stores.  The woman just dig it, it makes their day and the flight attendants on the airplane just go gaga over him.  Its so cute.  We love seeing him touch lives at such a young age and giving everyone a reason to smile!  Kam got his first major boo boo, he broke his right big toe.  He is the fastest little man ever.  He stood up holding onto our cabinets and must of got on his tipee toes and grabbed the small amount of cord from the crockpot (empty thank goodness) and pulled it off of counter onto his toe.  He was such a trooper, when it looked so painful.  I think Lilliana and I took it worse than he did.
Speaking of my sweet, kind, funny amazing daughter Lilliana.   She was such an amazing angel when Kam got hurt, at the hospital and when we all got home.  She got me an ice pack out of freezer right when it happened, asked if I needed bandaid, got herself dresses, shoes on and got me one of Daddy's shirts to put on.  She also grabbed Kam a toy to make him smile, all while she was crying hysterically and worrying about Kam. When we got home she got Kam a snack and helped me get his dinner ready.  She also put on alittle puppet show for him.  Daddy stopped at the store on the way home to get Kam some Motrin and he got Lilliana a first aid kit so she could help me dress the bandage and wrap his foot back up.  She was so excited and this morning she played hospital and fixed all her babies boo boo's.  Lilliana is getting so big, she loves to talk and use her imagination.  She loves crafts, cutting things, playing with tape and exploring in the backyard making mulch soup.  She enjoys going to the zoo for the dolphin shows, going to Morton Arboretum to play in the ponds, creeks and climb the tree houses.  She is a very sensitive, caring girl who is hysterical.  We could laugh for hours at the things she says.  Lilliana is officially potty trained and we are so proud of her for making this transistion on her own.
Lilliana and Kam are just finishing swim class..well Kam is done for now.  They both love the water and are gaining to much confidence.

Here are some pictures of our 2012 summer in Chicago and our home for awhile at 555 Walker Rd Hinsdale, IL 60521 (for Lilliana and Kam for future rememberance)
