"Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace." ~ Kent Nerburn

Happy 20 Month Birthday!

Lilliana in her tower...Loving helping us...this is how I find Lilliana after her naps and when I go to get her she says morning Mom just reading!

Lilliana getting ready for Christmas cookie baking...helping Mommy and Daddy bake...and eating in between

Yes, we just wrote, but we really wanted to get back on track with our monthly posts on her birthday. Pooh Bear you are talking and exploring everything! We just got you a Learning Tower so you can do all the things that we do:) You have been climbing up all by yourself to get things from the counter, helping us cook this morning (you can break eggs all by yourself), to wash your hands at the sink and to bring your plate to the sink when your finished. You feel very confident when you accomplish these things and look at us with a great big smile. It makes us smile too:) We had our annual neighborhood Christmas Party last night but decided we should all stay home and take care of Mommy (boy am I lucky) Lilliana still got to be apart of the gift exchange thanks to Daddy, he ran over and exchanged gifts and came home and we all opened one gift together. It was lots of fun:) Our neighbors always put on such a kid/family friendly parties that we were alittle bummed to miss out this year. Daddy made us breakfast this morning and Mommy finally ate and Lilliana really enjoyed her runny egg with toast. Today we are taking you sledding for the first time, I think we are more excited than you are. Then, tonight we are going on a family dinner date for Lilliana's birthday. Tomorrow we are going to see the Zoo Lights at Brookfield Zoo or Lincoln Park Zoo...can't decide they both look great, Daddy really wants to take you on the Polar Express Train to the Zoo so we will see:)
Lilliana likes to hold out her hand to you and say "Nice to meet you" we aren't sure where she got that but it is too funny! She says please and thank you for things and when we sneeze she will say bless you.
We are getting so excited for Christmas! Lilliana is too, whenever we get a package we have to hide it if we leave it under the tree is it opened. Who wouldn't want to open those enticing packages:) Merry Christmas and Many Blessing throughout this coming year to you all.
