"Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace." ~ Kent Nerburn

Happy 2011! We are looking forward to another amazing year with Lilliana, our family and welcoming our new baby this year:)
We had such a peaceful, family filled Christmas this year. Lilliana really became apart of the traditions this year and was so excited for the magic of Christmas day. Having a child brings "new" meaning to the Christmas Holiday, it was magical before but having a child heightens it:) We felt like kids again ourselves.
Lilliana is 21 lbs now and 32 inches tall. She wears a size 4/5 shoe...Lilliana loves shoes she can even walk in Mommies heals.,...too bad Mommy can't:) Lilliana loves to play dress up with Mommies necklaces, bracelets and princess's dresses and doesn't leave the house without her purse and babies. From the backseat of the car the other day Lilliana took her play phone out of her purse and said "Mommy...Daddy text you." I think we talk outloud alittle:) Lilliana still enjoys cooking or just watching Mommy and Daddy cook, now she has her own special kitchen with the most adorable table to go next to her kitchen for food prep (made by her favorite Poppy). Lilliana also enjoys cleaning with Mommy, playing grocery store and taking care of her babies. She is really into real life/practical things. Lilliana has really gotten into puzzles and "I spy"animal books, her Mickey Mouse Christmas book from Gigi and Grandbob and her horse stamp set from Nana and Pop. Watching horses, animals or people laughing in videos has become one of Lilliana's favorite things to do when she see's the computer ( it is usually hidden but sometimes after her nap Mommy forgets to put away)...and then it is all over she wants to watch videos of Lilliana, her friends laughing, horses running and animals at zoo's.
Lilliana gave Mommy and Daddy an amazing gift of sleep for Christmas...Lilliana is going to bed at 7 pm still but waking up at 7am (compared to her 5:15-5:30 wake up calls). It has been heavenly, we get up and have us time or sleep time in the morning before she graces us with her presence. It is a fun change for all of us. Now her naps have become alittle off..she has found that it is much cooler to make believe play and talk with her dollies in bed than nap...sometimes it takes her 1 hour to eventually fall asleep. It is fun to listen to her talk to them though:)
Lilliana is our pure entertainment, she is hysterical, full of life and has such a warm hearted personality! She likes to sing and imitate people and movements to songs she learns.
Mommy and Daddy are great, we are getting ready to celebrate our 5th year anniversary getaway on the beaches of Turks and Caicos with Lilliana! We are so excited and Lilliana tells us everday "I go beach, airpane."
We are 14 weeks along with our pregnancy, feeling great and so excited at the thought of having another little Sessions running around the house. It makes us giggle:) Mommy felt the baby move for the first time on Friday night and it was so amazing. Can't wait for many more of those moments. They are fast but the sweetest unpredictable treat.
Daddy and Mommy are getting pictures together, building shelves, and looking for furniture for our recent decorating of the house extraveganza...I think guys are nesting when their wives are. heheh. We have been having lots of fun together with these projects....Lilliana too, she laughed hysterically with us when Mommy and Daddy drove home from Target with her seat all the way up to the stearing wheel and our tailgate open with shelves sticking out. Just the thought of how funny we looked made us all laugh till tears were coming down.
Mommy and Daddy are also having fun planning Lilliana's 2nd birthday. We stay up way to late coming up with ideas and thoughts in bed when we should be sleeping. Is this really what keeps you up when you have kids. We were so excited thinking of it for her that we can't sleep. We promised never to talk about it again close to bedtime:)
Enjoy our pictures and lots of love to you all!
xoxo
