Happy Valentines Day...and maybe alittle Spring(58 degrees in Chicago) but, most of all Happy 22 month birthday to Lilliana!
Lilliana is getting taller by the weeks and mastering new skills by the day. She is very independant and not afraid to try new things. She can go up and down the stairs on her own and is working on getting her clothes on since getting them off is something she really enjoys. Lilliana likes to zipper and button things. She likes to zipper Mommy and Daddy's coats for them and take her own coat off.
Lilliana loves, loves, loves to sing and play or listen to musical instruments. She can hear a song or book once or twice and the next thing we know she is singing the song, rhyme or repeating the story as we read it to her. It is really cute to hear and see. We are really excited to be starting Messy Bizzness art class at the Art Museum in our town and Music class this summer.
Lilliana likes to play dress up and put lipstick on. Aunt Shelly painted Lilliana's nails for the first time and Lilliana loved it. She sat there so quietly in heaven and then sat there while Aunt Shelly and Uncle Randall blew on her nails to dry them. Lilliana even notices when a nail is missing polish and she even tells Mommy "Mommy need a cut a nail and polish." Hmmmm.

Lets just say my nails have never looked better because of Lilliana:) Thanks sweet baby.
Lilliana loves to make smoothies "smoovies" with us and likes to add the different fruits and vegtables to the cups. It has been a great way to get Lilliana and Mommy to eat their fruits and vegtables lately. It must be a stage we are both going through:) Hahaha
Lilliana is a very caring and concerned little girl. If you sneeze she will say "bless you." If you cough she will say "bless you, Daddy ok?" If there is a baby crying in a store or whereever she will stop whatever she is doing and we have to find the baby to make sure they are ok. She will
hug them if she is near them or hand them something like alittle "peace treaty." She will say "Mommy, baby ok."

We just finished Lilliana's new room. It is the most beautiful and calming room. Michael and I knew it was perfect when the first night it was finished him and I stayed in their just talking and laying there. We did the samething with the babyroom and felt the same way. It just felt amazing to be in there.
Lilliana had a great Valentines Day with her friends and a special Valentines Dinner with Mommy and Daddy. She enjoyed making jello hearts with Mommy and had the most beautiful red hands we have ever seen:)
She really enjoyed helping us pick out the decor and putting things up...literally she wanted to have her own ladder and she would climb it with Pape and Daddy. We have the door open and Lilliana is enjoying going in their and reading and getting comfortable to her new room. In a week or two we will try the sleeping thing:)
She likes to immitate and learn from older kids. Mostly boys...she likes their sillyness and playfullness. She is very playful and loves to entertain.
She steers clear of loud and crowded groups. She is very cautious of her surroundings and won't go far from Michael or I. She is such an angel and we now understand what people mean when they say you will love them more everyday.
Mommy, Daddy and Lilliana had a wonderful vacation to Turks and Caicos. Lilliana loves the beach, ocean and traveling as much as we do. Lilliana also was in heaven, she got to spend alot of time with her Pape(cookies) and Grammi (reading books at the beach)while we were there. She didn't want to leave but, was excited to get home and see Aspen.
We are 18 weeks into our pregnancy. We are excited for our baby to be apart of the new hospital in our town that will open in June of 2011 and is a mile from our home and is a very beautiful walk. In 2 weeks we get to see the baby again but will be waiting for the babies arrival for it to reveal its gender:) We are so excited to see the baby and all its growth. Its truly an amazing experience that we are all loving. We have been in heaven hearing the heartbeat and just thinking about the baby. Lilliana talks to the baby and sings to it and won't go to bed without saying goodnight and asking us if she can see it.
Happy Valentines Day...Almost Spring and St. Patricks Day:) xoxoxo
