Time is flying and the weeks are getting closer till we meet our new baby. Mommy went to the Dr on Saturday and Mommy is 30 weeks. Mommy and baby are doing great, Mommy is getting to the uncomfortable stage and too much activity or exercise is becoming a negative...and Mommy is getting full practice of sleepless nights already! Baby is very active and low and feels like it could come any day now. Every step and feeling of uncomfort is a step closer to seeing our baby. We went to the hospital last week for some tests and Lilliana was asking for her baby and telling Mommy that the babies in the nursery were her sisters. When we left it was pretty hard trying to explain to her that, those babies weren't her babies and hers would be here soon. Lilliana is so excited. She is enjoying playing with all the baby things that Daddy and Mommy brought out. We have the house all ready for the new baby now so Lilliana can't have sometime to play with its things and see it all out for awhile before the baby comes. She loves to practice buckling her babies into the car seat and feeding them.
Lilliana loves to perform, she will go out on the front step and sing and dance for us. If the neighbor kids are out, she will definitely be yelling their name and saying hi to them. Lilliana loves the outdoors and being barefoot just as much as her Mommy and Daddy could spend every minute outside. She loves taking bike rides with us, walks to find rocks and sticks(and yes...bugs) and loves to puddle jump in the rain. I love the looks we get:) There's nothing better than enjoying every bit of life and Lilliana does it!
She is getting to the stage of voicing her opinion and she does have a strong one, which is such a great trait. Though she knows when she takes it too far and has upset Mommy and Daddy and will stop when enough is enough. She doesn't like seeing anyone upset and will quickly try to make it better.
She loves to walk Aspen every afternoon and feed him fresh water and food every morning...and feed him way too much table food. Aspen is so good to her and protects her.
We had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend. Mommy get to spend Friday night with her Mommy and Sisters, then on Saturday Lilliana and Daddy took Mommy to the city for a night stay with museums, dinner and breakfast in the room and a wonderful bike ride on the lake.
We had a great night having dinner and playing(running races) with Aunt Kristy, from Virginia, and to have her at our home for the evening was very special. This weekend Lilliana gets to see her Aunt Kristen and Uncle Andy, from Texas, Lilliana is very excited to make pancakes with them. At the end of the month we get to see more family and friends! We can't wait for our fun filled May and June as a family and celebrating Daddy, Aspen and Pape's birthdays!
Happy 25 months Lilliana we love every inch of you.
xoxoxo
