Lilliana is 32 months old now and weighs 23lbs and is 3ft 3 in tall and Kam is now 4 months old and weighs 14lbs and is 26 inches tall. They are both growing so nicely and are so happy. Lilliana is at the stage where she is really voicing her opinions and wants, we love it and are finding this stage rather interesting, it tells alot about her. Lilliana is a very lovey person, very strong willed. She loves to make people smile and just loves to hug and kiss people. She is a major nurturer. Lilliana has been taking Kam's diapers off for me when she see's they are full and loves to let him chew on her finger to help his sore gums. Lilliana is loving the Christmas season and really taking in every moment as we teach her about what the season is really about. She told me the other day at nap that she was scared cause it was too dark in her room, but that was ok cause God was there . She likes to tell us that we protect her and Jesus protects her. We could careless if she is the smartest or most athletic girl but this is something in the back of our minds we could only dream for her to be a peace with God so when we heard this we felt completely grateful.
Though we just had our first snow this weekend, it didn't seem to stop Lilliana from going outside without any socks on. She soon realized that it wasn't too warm and maybe we were right about having to wear socks and that we weren't at the beach. Lilliana is getting excited for Santa to come and to celebrate Jesus's birthday. She asked Santa for a bike, paints and baby bjorn. She said Santa will bring Kam clothes, since he always needs new clothes.
Kam is great, such a happy baby. Loves silliness and is very interested in what is going on and who is speaking. Very curious. Kam is rolling from his belly to his back and is talking more and yells out in excitement at hims, Lilliana thinks it is so funny.
Our family hosted Thanksgiving this year and had such an amazing time with family. We had a huge sleepover with Aunt Michelle, Matt, Mallory, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Shawn, Easton, Gavin, Calen, Pape and Grammie the night before Thanksgiving, it was a blast! Thanksgiving morning we ran our towns Turkey Trot with everyone, then returned home for a fun-filled day of eating and hanging together. Our night ended with a night walk to view fun Christmas lights in our neighborhood and a late night game of Apples to Apples.
Lilliana is really enjoying the Holiday baking, crafts and singing going on in the house. She knows lots of Christmas songs, her favorites to sing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is coming to town. She enjoyed helping and eating as we made Christmas ornaments and cookies and looks forward to Kam's morning nap to do a special craft with me.
We are looking forward to being with family this Christmas and so excited for Christmas morning with the kids. Michael and I can't wait!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Looking foward to 2012!
