Wow the months are flying by! Lilliana is 2 months away from being 3 years old and Kam is going to be 6 months old in a week! This precious time as little ones is going so fast. They are true blessings.
We all had an amazing Christmas this year and New Years Eve, both spent with family. We continued our own family traditions and Lilliana was just loving every minute of the Holiday cheer. We would keep Christmas music on during the day and sing and dance around. By the end of the Holiday she knew every Christmas song. So much fun! Santa brought Lilliana a bike this year and she just loves it! We have to run next to her to keep up. Kam got little books from his sister that he just loves to chew on!
Lilliana started going to church school on Sundays when she wants to and is loving it. Michael and I are really enjoying meeting new couples and families to spend time with. We are so overwhelmed with joy at all the amazing new things God is placing into our lives. We are so thankful for him and all he does for our family.
Lilliana is still enjoying her music class and family craft class that we go to. She loves to paint, make crafts, cut things with scissors, play with her many imaginary friends (this has become a family of 7 at times), sing, dance, ride her bike and play games. Lilliana loves to cook and help make juice in the juicer, smoothies and she likes to spread her own peanut butter on her bread. She has an amazing memory, we are just amazed by it and a reminder to always be on our toes:) Lilliana is a very sweet, caring, head strong little girl...with the most beautiful smile and heart. She loves her brother to pieces and helps take care of him. She even changes his diaper on her own, including throwing it away in the garbage. When Lilliana goes into Kam's room when he awakes, or walks into the room where he is, his face lights up and he just grins from ear to ear and giggles. He adores her.
Kam is getting so mobile. He can sit up on his own now and roll both directions. He is a very happy, content baby. He is always smiling and just loves being in the moment. He is a snuggler and loves to touch, like his sister:) He is showing his personality more and we are loving it. When he doesn't like something he will let out this really loud screech to tell us he is dissatisfied. We love his assertiveness for what he wants:) We could do away with the LOUD screech but we are just thankful to hear him screech. Kam is babbling so much and loves to say dadadada, mamama, babababab, ahhhhhhhh. Very cute. Kam loves to eat his toes and hands...he could be content with them for hours. We just recently put him in his jumpy and he LOVES it! He giggles and smiles the whole time he is in it. We all love to jump around with him and he feels so cool.
We have been trying to record funny things Lilliana says in our Journals and on our blog, so someday she can laugh as hard as we do.
Out on my run the other "cloudy, foggy day," Lilliana said "Mommy we need to tell Jesus to blow this smoke away with his fan."
Little inappropriate but really funny "Mom, Kam is playing with his potty again."
"Mommy, did Pape have fun swimming with the shark he caught at his beach house."
"Mommy, I love going on special lunch dates with my Daddy."
"Mommy, you look so beautiful today."
"Mommy, you are the boy prince and I am the princess."
"Here sweetheart do it like this."
"When is Missy coming over with some Chocolate?"
"Mom, can you bring me a Mila and a Kam?"
"I want to go live in the warmie."
Mommy and Daddy are great! We have been enjoying getting more involved in our church. Starting book clubs/studies and growing together with a business class. We are enjoying doing the homework together and the readings.
We also welcomed another niece and cousin into our family this week. Congrats Jason, Kristy, Josh and Jacob. Julianne is beautiful!
Happy New Year and God Bless you all!
Michael, Amanda, Lilliana, Kam and Aspen Sessions
