Happy 2013! We are so excited for this year of giving, change and lots of love! We missed our annual "Bozue" family New Year’s Eve Bash, but were able to ring in the New Year with some of our closest friends. We hosted a New Year’s Eve party at our home and had a wonderful night eating yummy food and talking of the year that past and that to come....till 3a.m! Lots of memories were made that night. The following morning we gathered with all of our friends at our home for a 2013 Brunch. Lilliana and Kam didn't make it to any New Year time zones so we had our own little New Year’s Eve party with them...they sure did like the blowers and poppers.
Lilliana started attending New Covenant Bible School on Tuesday and Thursdays for a few hours and she is loving learning about God among friends and doing crafts with her teachers. She is also a part of the school/church itty bitty choir and they will have their first musical in February. She is very excited to start piano at school too. They went to the Chapel during school today to sing songs of worship and the music teacher said Lilliana def. stands out with her loud opera singing :) Love her confidence. Lilliana is so excited about Pape and Grams visit in a few weeks and can't stop talking about her and Grammy going shoe shopping and swimming. She already set all of our swim suits out...it’s going to be a long couple weeks before they arrive. Lilliana is enjoying Kam's ability to talk now and repeat of everything she says. She acts like a little teacher, annunciating her words and talking very slowly so Kam can understand her. She found it very hysterical when she said that is stinky Kam and Kam said "tinky km." It is so fun to watch them, they hardly eat, and they just want to do everything together. Kam runs to Lilliana when we pick her up from school with a big hug and wet kids for her. She was a little upset today because Kam was only giving out hugs ;) They are just so fun!
Kam is talking so much now and is able to verbalize or show us what he wants or doesn’t want. He def. has a mind of his own and refuses to let anyone get in the way of what he wants, a lot like Lilliana was, we see so many similarities in them. He points to his diaper when he has pooped to tell us.."Poop." He asks for cheese...running to the refrigerator saying "Dada, Cheeeeseeee." Not sure why he adds Dada in there but it is cute. Kam says: down, all done, cheese, Mommy, Dada, Asp for Aspen, Ana for Lilliana, catch, ball, football, baseball, Pop, Pope, Gam for Gram, GBob for Grandbob, Kyeeee for Kylee, Ryder, dog, as well as singing songs: ring around the rosie, rain rain go away, 1-2-3 strikes your out. Kam is on the move....dead sprint now. Loves to kick balls, play catch, lay chase with Lilliana, play with his trains (he now lays on his belly playing with his trains for a long period of time), and being outside. Kam just popped all his molars and had a pretty rough time with it but it feeling much better. Had his first helping of ice cream the other day and it didn't sit so well with him. Eating is a thing of the past; he is having too much fun to waste a minute eating.
Michael and I are doing great. Looking forward to getting more involved in the community here in the New Year and are working together to help each other hit all our goals for the year. What a great year 2012 was, we are so blessed. We are def. looking forward to 2013 and all the wonderful things to come. God Bless you all and Happy New Year.
