"Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace." ~ Kent Nerburn

We can hardly believe our little princess is 10 months old! We can remember when she was born and we would talk about her first birthday and how it seemed like a long time away. Here it is right around the corner. Michael and I are already ready for it, decorations are in, treat bags are made, cake is ordered and invitations are on their way! We are alittle excited can you tell. Michael is trying to convince one of his workers to dress up as Winnie the Pooh for us:) It will be a Winnie the Pooh 1st birthday. From the day she was born, we have called her Pooh Bear or Pooh. So, we thought it would be special to have a Pooh Bear birthday:)
Lilliana has been battling a cold and just got diagnosed with an ear infection. Not really a surprise after all the nasal congestion she has had. We took her to the urgent care on Wednesday night and she seems to be feeling some relief today. At the urgent care they weighed Lilliana and she weighed 16lbs 3oz, which worries us because she has either lost weight or the scale is different than the Doctors. She looks healthy and has lots of energy so we aren't too worried. Lilliana is standing on her own for moments at a time and it walking with her walking toys. She loves to climb the stairs and go for rides in her wagon that Nana got her, in the basement. She loves to say "DAWG", Aspen (ssshhhhh), Fish (pshhhh), Dada and it sounds like lordy lordy lordy. Michael laughs at the lordy one, he remembers himself or one of his siblings saying that. Lilliana and Aspen have become great pals. Lilliana finds it hysterical when she feeds Aspen her treats. When I would worry about the way Aspen was acting around her, Michael would say "just wait till she starts sharing her food." He was right, they are buddies now and it isn't just when their is food involved now:) I am a happy Momma. Lilliana is cutting 4 teeth on the top at the same time the 2 front ones have popped but we are waiting for the other 2 to show their beautiful selves:) She has been in some pain but seems to be a trooper.
Lilliana is also excited because she just got her pretty 1st birthday dress/hat and her dress for Aunt Kristin's wedding in May! How fun and expensive it is to have a little girl. Mommy never liked to shop, now she does, when its for Lilliana, something is wrong with that.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines, even though everyday should be Valentines day and we hope everyone enjoys St. Patty's Day! We will be running another 5K called the Shamrock Shuffle in our town, hopefully it will be warm enough so Lilliana can join us for the great cause! Lots of love to you all and thanks for all the prayers and ears this last month, we are truly grateful and blessed.
