Happy 11 month birthday Lilliana. This will be the last blog update until after her first birthday. We are having our blog made into a book for Lilliana as a gift. We feel like this yearly gift will be something special for her to look at when she is older. Saturdayvwas Lilliana's first St. Patricks Day parade her in our town of Elmhurst. We live in a very Irish Catholic town so this parade was amazing and so kid friendly. Even with the rain, there were a couple hundred people. The parade is in walking distance of our home so it was so nice!
Lilliana is such an amazing little girl. We just can't get enough of her and find everything that she does the coolest thing ever. She inspires us and makes us smile everyday. Her personality even makes us laugh, she is very silly and happy. It's fun we all laugh together now, when we make each other laugh Lilliana joins right in and tips her head back an all. Her favorite word lately is Oh and Wow and of course Dada and Aspen(shshshshs) when she hears our neighbor dogs coco and puff bark she goes woooo shshshshshsh and breathes in really deep with excitement. She actually repeats things we say! We found it really crazy that she is doing this already. We say the colors of her blocks as we clean them up and she says YELLOW (not clearly), Red and blue, repitition really does work we weren't purposly doing it to teach her just talking to her as we clean up. She also said truck,bus, hot and cold the other day, again not clearly but enough to know what she was saying. Papa got her to say Lily and today she said pasta after I told her what we were having for dinner. She loves to listen to the tiger song from Winnie the Pooh and whenever we sing it to her she bounces up and down and smiles. Her bedtime song is from Winnie the pooh that we sing to her called I'll sing a luva by for you Pooh and she lays her head on our sholder and pats our back, it is heaven. It is like she knows how much it means to us to make her smile and she like "great job mom and dad", haha.

Lilliana is standing on her own and is getting up to standing position from a sitting. She loves it and we all start clapping and she just loves it. She giggles and then sits back down. With the nice weather the last 2 weeks, we have been getting out and making our way to the park everyday. She loves the swings and loves it even more when you take off her hat to feel the wind going through her hair. She loves to look around at the kids playing and if she see's a dog, it is all over she is trying to get out of the swing to the dog.
Lilliana is a climber and loves to play with her books, she rarely plays with toys. She is too busy crawling (running I call it) and finding things to sit under or crawl through and hold onto and walk. We can buy her the coolest town and she will look at it, play a minute then go and climb the stairs or climb up the cushions on the couch. She has a good imagination. So, for now we have packed away most her toys. She also loves to get into Aspen's water bowl and food(don't worry she hasn't eaten any). She just learned how to get down from the couch and cushions by turning around. Sometimes she needs us to guide her but she really likes this new concept. She likes to make noises with her tongue like clicking it. So funny.
She waves at everyone now and says hi and bye while doing it, even if your not waving at her. We love it cause she will wave at someone who has a sad face upon them and instantly she put a smile on their face. I love that she is already touching people with something so simple as a smile. She is an angel.
Lilliana just got her first passport, it is the cutest thing even and her little face is just so precious. Daddy is taking Mommy and Lilliana to Mexico for Mommy's 30th. Michael and I are very excited to have this time together. We will be back just in time for Easter and Lilliana's first birthday party. Our pooh bear is almost 1!
