Only 9 days until Lilliana's birthday! We are counting down the days with her and can't believe how fast a year has gone. It was exactly a year ago that we moved into our first home too.
Lilliana is 17.10lbs and 28 inches long. Lilliana is walking around the house now on two feet:) While we were in Cancun Lilliana took her first step to Daddy and when we got home she started taking more and more steps everyday. Michael, Lilliana and I had so much fun in Cancun. Lilliana loved the sand, the ocean and of course the pool:) We brought a floaty cute thing for her, but she didn't want anything to do with it, she literally was trying to get out of our arms into the ocean. Michael used a shovel from one of the workers everyday and built her a hole in the sand by our chairs under the shade, and she would play there almost all day "Michael called it her own Condo." She even attracted lots of friends with Daddy's cool idea. She loved taking walks on the beach with Michael and I and really liked sitting on our patio early in the morning with us, listening to the seagulls. She would go "ohhohh" "birdie." She loves birdies and dogs. She enjoyed building sand castles with us, but quickly squashing them. I think she liked the game we made of it:)
She enjoyed all the kids at the resort and would sit at breakfast and lunch just waving and smiling at everyone..oh and feeding the birdies:)
We had a wonderful Easter together during the day as a family and then Easter dinner with the family and cousins. It was a great day. Lilliana hasn't seen her cousins Matt and Mallory since her Baptism so it was fun to see her around them. Her and Gavin are so cute together, they give each other rides on this little push fire engine and Gavin gives Lilliana lots of kisses. He is going to be a great big brother in September!
Lilliana's favorite things lately are balls, bubbles, her flip books and boxes to climb in and out of and on top of. I got this really small wagon about her size from a retired teacher and Lilliana loves to push it up and down our street waving to people. It is so funny. She is eating so many good things now like wheat pasta, whole carrots,edemame, blueberry pancakes and waffles, chicken, avacado and much more. She loves feeding herself!
April is such an exciting month for our family. April 12, mine and Michael's first date, April 16th my birthday, April 18th Lilliana's birthday and April 29 our wedding anniversary. What a special month filled with so many precious memories.
