Happy June to you all! What a special month it has been for us already. Michael's birthday was June 1, Aspen's birthday was June 6 and Papa's, Aunt Jackie's, Cousin Cora's, Cousin Noah's birthday and Mommy's friend Tasha's birthday are in June too! Michael had a special birthday dinner with Lilliana and I on his birthday. This past weekend Daddy had a meeting for work and we had some of our most special friends in town for the meeting and to celebrate Michael's birthday with a surprise! Congrats to Ken and Sara on their engagement! We look forward to many years of friendship and raising our families together. We love you both.
Lilliana is 18lbs and is 29 inches long. She just broke her first molar ( the top left side) and just today she broke the bottom left molar. That is 10 teeth now for Lilliana.
She is getting quicker on her feet everyday and sometimes gives us a little run:) She loves to talk, smile, laugh(anything silly), read her board books, anything outside, playing in the sand, water, mulch or just looking at the trees and listening to the birds makes her happy. Her favorite past time is taking a bike ride with us when Daddy gets home from work. We go and feed the ducks at the duck pond and watch the water spouts shoot water very high. She finds the outdoors so calming. Just like Michael and I. Her favorite thing to do lately is show you her belly button and giggle. She even says "bella buttn." It's too funny. She has done a little dancing for us too, when she hears music or shakes her bells/tambourines she bounces up and down. She tells us when she is all done with eating, doing an activity or when we are reading a book to her, she say "ah know," for all done. When we are holding her, when she is sitting in the grocery cart or when we are getting her out of her car seat, she will tell us when she wants to walk "wok Momma/Dada." We sometimes look at each other and say "Did she just say/do that."
She loves children and will go up to any of them and say hi, wave and possibly give them a huggy just depends on the reaction she gets from the child.
She loves to sing with us. She likes to sing Row Row Row Your Boat, Old McDonald and The Wheels On The Bus. She really enjoys listening to musical instruments and whenever we see a piano, drums or Dada's guitar she tries to play them. We spent 35 minutes trying to get her away from the keyboards at Target the other day. When school was in, Lilliana and I would take wagon rides by the Middle School in the morning and watch the band play and march through the streets. It made for such a fun morning together.
Lilliana's favorite foods are Macaroni (Dada just introduced to her), Blueberries, Avocados, Banana's, Cheesy bread, Watermelon, Cheesy Egg Whites and Pasta. She is taking after her Dada's love for pasta!
We had a big day in Chicago! The Chicago Black hawks won the Stanley Cup on 6/9/10 and the USA Soccer Team is playing England in the world cup this weekend!
Happy June to you all and lots of love from all of us
