Happy 15 Months Birthday Pooh Bear (soon enough)! Lilliana is getting so big and so curious about everything around her. She has 2 molar teeth now and is working on the other 2. She is getting so tall, she is 29 inches and all legs. Lilliana wears a size 4 shoe now and is in 9-12 month clothing.
Lilliana's enjoying her summer activities with Mommy and Daddy. She loves going to story time at the Library, Music Together, Gymboree and the community pool. It is nice to have one activity planned a day together out of the house and Lilliana just loves observing and being around other babies and kids.
Lilliana's new favorite snack is cheese and apples and her new favorite meal is chicken with tomatoes and avocado's and not to forget pasta:) Her new favorite fruit is watermelon and grapes. Favorite vegetable is.....we'll we will get back to that, Lilliana is taking a break from vegetables at the moment:) She is enjoying Black beans and olives too. Lilliana started drinking a cup of whole milk a day and seems to really enjoy it. When we let her choose between her water or the milk, she always takes to the milk cup. We are so happy she likes it.
Lilliana and Aspen have been having so much fun together. Lilliana gives Aspen(As) his treat when he goes outside and uses the bathroom. She stands by the door and waits for him and then when he comes in she yells "As tret," and runs to the pantry to his treats. She likes when Aspen chases her around the house trying to get his treat. She can now pet him and he won't run away.
Aspen doesn't miss a day when Michael and I go into get Lilliana when she wakes up. He is right their with us and runs into her room and starts rolling on the floor. That really makes her giggle.
Lilliana loves to help. She enjoys helping Michael and I wash our cars. She gets her own rag and just loves the bubbles and water everywhere! It is very exciting. This weekend we brought her car out and we all washed her car too. When we cook she likes to be up on the counter helping us and munching as we go.
Lilliana's favorite words lately are run, Papa, eyes, nose, toes, pool, ice, read book and blocks.
Michael and I love it when she talks, we call it Avatar...you can't really understand it but it is fascinating.
We had a wonderful 4th of July together as a family. We spent the day with family at a 4th of July party at a farm. Lilliana had fun with her cousins, seeing the horses, playing by the pond and jumping in the jumpy machine with Mommy. Papa showed Lilliana her first sparkler and first firecracker, she loved them and said "oooh fircraker." Papa even got to have a birthday cake outside with all the firecrackers going off, it was a pretty cool birthday for him and not to mention Daddy's great ribs! We went to our community pool with Papa and Grammi and Lilliana tried to swim...face and all. Michael was even holding her belly and she just laid flat and put her face it. I think with all the kids there she was trying to copy them. It was a great weekend relaxing with family and each other.
