GOD is so good! We are just loving every minute with Lilliana and Kam and feel so blessed to have them both in our lives. It is our little party of 4 everyday and believe there is truly nothing better than this. It feels so good!
Lilliana is 29 months old and is the such a kind, energetic, cautious,caring and playful little girl. She She is growing into this amazing little girl and everyday brings so much laughter and excitement to our lives. She has these elaborate stories and imagination...not to mention her hysterical and very cute facial expressions.
Lilliana is getting ready to be flower girl for the first time next weekend at Ken and Sara's wedding in California! We have been practicing and having so much fun with the anticipation leading up to it and we are so excited for her. Before going to California we are stopping in AZ so Kam can meet his Godparents our dear friends Kylee and Ryan Knauss. We also get to see our friends Matt and Julia and Lilliana will be able to play with her friend Coco at their new home in AZ!! Lilliana is so excited to see all of them and asks about it everyday and says that Coco is going to sleep with her at the hotel..hmmmm 2 year old...no sleeping there. But, really cute. Mommy and Daddy are surprising Lilliana on Thursday with a trip to Disney Land in Cali!! We are so excited to see her face and experience this as a family! It's going to be a wonderful trip and a wonderful wedding of our 2 amazing friends!
Lilliana loves to help change Kam's diapers and put cream on him(way too much. but so cute), she loves to sing to him and read to him while he is in his swing. She tells Daddy and Mommy when he needs to have tummy time. If Kam starts to fuss she know his hungry cry and will say Mommy we need to feed Kam and tonight she told Michael and I after story with Kam and Lilliana...Kam seems tired Mommy and Daddy, and she was right because Kam does this little screech and arch of his back then he falls asleep. We are glad Lilliana is recognizing Kam's cues with us and helping us to follow what he needs as a family.
Lilliana brings a huge smile to Kam's face whenever she talks, sings or is just playing near him. Kam now is cooing and smiling at us and when we talk to him it sounds so cute like he is talking back to us. Lilliana finds it funny when Mommy and Daddy talk in "Kam" language and Kam likes it too!
Kam is growing so nicely. He is in 3 month clothes now and still has his adorable brown hair! He has the bluest eyes and a smile that lights up his whole face! He loves to sleep with his hands over his head and is still getting a great night of sleep. He is perfect as we lay here looking at him as he sleeps we find it so crazy that is has been 6 weeks tomorrow that we brought him into this amazing world! We could watch him for hours and we could eat him he is so yummy (like our friend Barb told us on our wedding night when she told us about when we had kids and she was so right!) Congrats to her and Jim on their new baby girl too!
Kam was baptized on Sept 11,2011. Nana and Grandbob were able to come in from VA to celebrate this season with us. Grandbob came in from VA on a train and we loved watching him from our town train station! Thank you Nana for the beautiful and sentimental outfit Kam wore that you made from my grandmothers wedding gown, having you do this for Lilliana and now Kam has been so thoughtful of you and we loved it. It was a beautiful day and celebration with family.
